Champion business builds on a solid reputation

The company repairs damaged concrete structures from pre-cast concrete panels, to cracked concrete floor slabs, columns, beams, shear walls to bridges, tunnels, dams water reservoirs.
Recently their company won the Champion Canterbury 2014 infrastructure award.
He says there is no New Zealand standard on concrete repairs or concrete injection. So Concrete Connect sent two staff to Germany to be trained under European standards and transferred that knowledge to their own methodologies.
Neither New Zealand nor Australia had a standard on concrete repair and neither country had a long history with concrete like the Europeans.
"Most of our guys are people who have been labourers in the workforce and we will take them on board and if they've got the right attitude and they measure up to our values, we will work with them to give them experience and internal training."
